This is an omgawwwwwddddddd recipe and it’s going to make your journey really simple, sandwiches and burgers are going to be a breeze now and these buns are also EGG FREE and taste like carby buns...what else would you want ?????...enjoy

Ingredients :

2 cups almond flour
1 cup whey protein isolate
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp xantham gum
1 tsp salt
3 tbsps apple cider vinegar
2 tbsps oil
1 cup hot water
Optional : A handful of sesame seeds

MACROS :
Macros for 8 buns
Net carbs : 23 gms
Total carbs : 48 gms
Fibre : 24 gms
Fat : 141 gms
Protein : 121 gms
Calories : 1853 gms

Just made these this morning. Very good. I added a tsp of yeast and they smelled delicious while baking. My batter was kind of soupy, more liquid than in the video. But, the buns turned out perfect. I used hemp seeds on top. Saved the hemp seeds from another recipe of yours and they came in handy this morning. (Writing from Minnesota, USA.)

I've just tried this....it's an excellent recipe...easy to make indeed...tastes very neutral, because I didn't add spices...I think if I added cinnamon it would taste like an almond cake and if I added cheese and herbs it would taste like a cheese scone ( what Americans call a biscuit). Texture is excellent. I used a Texas muffin tin as I didn't have the bun tray...mine turned more into a cake like bun, but I'm sure it will slice and toast beautifully. To get the bun ( or as we say in Australia...roll) like quality, I think the bun tray would be best. Thank you Vernaz...this is a great Keto choice!!!!

Hi, thanks for making this recipe. You always improved your breads. I am still looking for something that is not dry or like a cake. It is so hard to imitate a good bread.’I don’t mind eggs, as long is not that many. I wonder if I can use psyllium husk instead.

FAntastic!....and egg and gluten-free! I'm allergic to both, ..and these are the closest to a traditional hamburger bun recipe I've seen
