It helped to know the settings for exporting, but when I import back into blender, the bones in my armature are incorrectly sized and disconnected from the chain they were in when I exported them. I've tried with a rigify armature and with a blender armature and the same result happens every time. I followed these steps exactly, so I don't understand why it's not working.

After exporting my all other shaders like emisson, glossy automatically changed into principald BSDF, Why????

Bro any idea on how to export objects with material like emission shadder and color ramp and displacement modifiers etc because I am exporting my model and the texture paint got exported and textures that I downloaded also got exported but my materials are missing

Thanks for the quick tutorial, man. However, I have a little bit of a problem still. I have rigged my character with IK, but when I exported the whole thing following your tutorial the IK is gone and the rig is broken. What did I do wrong? I hope you'll reply...

i need help bro
when you import the FBX into blender again the rig is messed up, its not the same as when exported, by messed up i mean first of all it moves differently, and the shapes are gone

bro im not able to export curve controls by your process please tell me how to export/import with curve controls too even it cant be perfect in blender by importing blender too

Even though I followed everything, I import it into Unity but it is either just a white broken mesh model or a package with no 3d model or anything I can put it on, I need help

i created a model-sunglasses and added glass bsdf and i wanna export it in dekstop with the materials that i've putted and it looks diferent and you can see thro the glass its only white advice?

I have an fbx model from p3dm. I load the model in blender but there's no texture. In blender I go to "eternal data" and then "find missing files" but nothing happens.

Is there anyway you could make this tutorial, but using Better FBX Importer/Exporter plugin for Blender? I'd like to know how to do the same things using that as it exports a better quality model.
