FIX! Resolve media offline - codec missing to play H265 files like Fuji FLOG or DJI drone film

You're trying to load Fuji FLOG or DJI drone footage into the resolve timeline, but it shows as "media offline" while still showing there's audio. Now what?!

I've tried with three different free versions for hours on Windows 11. Install, uninstall, install, uninstall, restart etc. for hours! I reinstalled DaVinci, and it was still not working. It shows installed everywhere, in store (installed, not purchased) and on the computer.
After 2, 5 hours, I figured I wasn't able to run the same files in Windows Media Player - which means, the installed file isn't working.
SOLUTION was, to buy the original from Microsoft Store. Works like a charm.

finally worked for me, others were just saying relink, but mine was a fresh install and just selected a file and it said "Media Offline", downloaded the codec and after a restart, it worked !!
