Braden Mann miss-hit a kick, but if he's smart, it will become something he does a LOT more often.

It's still a penalty if the ball goes out of bounds on a kickoff, so this is a very risky play to try to train yourself to do perfectly. If it goes out of bands or lands short of the 20 yard line, the ball is automatically placed on the 40 yard line. The kicker was really just lucky the ball bounced away from the sideline and back into the field of play.

Elliott was 'kicked' to the practice squad curb, and Howie Roseman had the sense to grab him up because of the Caleb Sturgis injury. Elliott kicked a 61-yard field goal to win the game against the NY Giants in 2017 and is in the NFL history book. When doing kick offs in high school my coach only allowed me to do coffin corner kicks. It works nice when you get a favorable bounce as you mentioned
