I love the "Don't Overthink it, it's just paint." motto. Galileo said “All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.” Glad I discovered this video! Thanks for posting.

You make it look so easy. Thanks for all the videos you’ve posted over the years. I watched your videos and got my fathers car painted with your tips and tricks after 20 years of my last paint job. Now I’m going to try your blending techniques on my truck.

Dealerships can be very difficult to work with on being at the shop after hrs, some have very strict rules. I can appreciate this Acura dealership to allow Brian to stay and do these videos. It helps add to the credibility of hey this is what the professionals do. I doubt Acura is listening but THANK YOU.

Well timed as I have a similar repair to fix. Would love more small patch/blend job videos like this as well.

Love the tricks . They are what real life painters encounter at times

For me this repair requires more skills than to do a "proper" repair. Most of the body shops dont want to compromise and dont understand that some repair don't make economic sense specially if its a older car.
Most shops would had quoted to refinish the entire fender and blend the hood. Thumbs up to Bryan

I literally do blends on almost every car I work on, and the owner of the company praises me and my coworker for saving the most amount of money in the company and making the most blends are your friend

Thanks for your video.
I have to do a paint job with a lot of blending, which I have never done before.
I have painted whole cars and boats but blending is a mystery.
What i picked up from your video is the trick of spraying reducer on the overspray of the blend.
Brilliant!
I suddenly feel much more confident that i can successfully paint the many small spot repairs on my aircraft!
I REALLY do not want to paint the whole thing!
Weight is such an issue on small aircraft, it has to be two pack epoxy, one coat!

This is my day to day work for car dealers who don't like paying for full panels etc. Generally the jobs come out well but its not my favourite type off work . Good video Brian i guess i'll be getting some weekend warriors coming in after they fail on their attempts. 😉

Back in my day We would use are shirt and place tape on it making tape less sticky. Only on delamination jobs.

Definitely a very cool tips and tricks filled video.
I use an airbrush sometimes for small areas and chips. Works great, giving me lots of control with the blends and such.
Thanks for the demo.

I learned this technique from one of Garage Noise’s videos, and my job came out great. It’s good to know that your technique is very similar! Means I learned the right skills 👌🏽

Awesome as always. You really have a great and easy style of teaching. Even if I don't have a specific use for the topic, I love listening and learning.

Brother!!!! I have been doing it ALMOST like this video but instead of 3, 000 the part where the blend is, I've been taught decades ago to hand polish the area you sanded. I'm going to do what you suggested tomorrow and I'll let you know. Thanks Brian
