Whomever donated money to have more Godel discussed, I love you!

i think you might be mistaking the respect in which he is using "positive"

Es el mismo argumento de san Anselmo, e, infortunadamente, comete los mismos errores. No es posible partir de la propia definición de Dios para probar que Dios es realmente.

my ex girlfriend came up with a girdle incompleteness theorem. actually she'd just gotten fat

Great video. Clear and easy explanation. Just correction one point (positive does not mean good, but something who is defined by its presence instead of its ausence). But it is not a big mistake. I think Gödel did not give a clear definition for that and good is a positive property anyway.

The axioms are just a roundabout way to define positive.

The second property, to simplify the meaning, can be likened unto a triangle (sorry for that old english) Like a corner has a line that must reach the other, they are unsplittable and co-dependent on one another, as if one splits, it ceases to Be a triangle. If you know what I try to mean (too complex to try to comprehend it at first try, this is the most simple explanation I could come by A.S.A.P)

Why use menorahs? The Jewish "God" cannot be the true God because he has not exemplified himself in about or over 2000 years. Since God is all good, this is necessarily not the true God.

I don't get this argument because if God is God-like, all positive properties are his essential properties, but clearly "omnipotence" (which seems to be a pretty positive property) does not entail "all and only necessary properties of s" (s = God) as per 3:15.

I can imagine a god, and I can verbalize my imaginings however abstruse that may be; therefore god exists.

Does his name sound like "girdle"?

"Basically, God is all and only that which is good and positive" The way I understood the definition of essential of property tells me that god IS all thigs that are good, but not only that, because essential property is a subset of properties that the subject has. For example subject quadrigon(four angled polygon) which has properties that all sides are equal, and all angles are right angles has the essential property that it is a rectangle, even if it is also a square. If someone sees why my understanding is wrong, please tell me.

Interesting, but I think that an argument for the existence of God or something God-like, e.g. why should such a thing exist, followed by a logical proof for that God would be stronger overall.

Gerdul lol. It's not pronounced like that
ö = the "u" in the British pronunciation of "murder." Something between "uhh" and "oo"
And thank you for the explanation

Something that possesses all positive properties lacks balance…a positive property.

Suppose that the argument has some flaw x. Now that you've considered the matter can you verify, by means independent of your own reasoning, that x cannot be a flaw?
would that be your supposition, or somebody else's?

In this proof Godel did define what is a positive quantity: a property is positive iff its negation is negative.

You could talk about these Topics. Near death experiences, the fine tuning of the universe, objective morality, microtubules and consciousness. And gödels incompleteness theorem. All about god in one way or the other.

Being godlike is an essential property of everything…not just that which is godlike…no bad thing can come from god remember?
