The "search nearby" option was the most useful option on Google Maps. Super easy to use... find location-->look at it--> search nearby for stuff you want-->repeat. Why do I now have to initiate a separate search "coffee near X location" to do this. I used this to EASILY plan trips, find meeting places, explore neighborhoods when moving (how many coffee shops, laundromats etc. near my new apartment?). Keep it SIMPLE.
