Thank you, this was a very easy method to follow. I'm on day 3, it's high twenties at the moment so my starter is bubbling nicely already!

Mary Grace, I love your channel and videos. Very informative and you have a great energy. Can i please ask you to stop working your starter (stirring etc.) While your jar sits on your scale. Doing so can throw it out of calibration and damage it. Keep up the great channel.

Maybe I mist this being said but how much of the starter do you use to make your bread. I enjoyed watching and learning this process and would like to give it a go.

instead of wasting the "discards" use it to make pancakes/flat breads in a frying pan... totally delicious! any actual discard is a real waste of perfectly good food!

My mix one day is quite dry. Is that normal and yes, I definitely mixed 50gms of water and flour and tiny bit of honey.

It was suggested to me to use Rye Flour for the starter. I find when I mix 50g flour and 50g water makes a stiff paste. Should I be adding more water?

Do you have to put it in the fridge or can it stay outside.. and where to put it - so it will germinate into sourdough starter -- leave it for 24hrs but where, ,
