If you wife is escalating the argument and repeatedly disrespects you verbally, calmly tell her that you are happy to have a calm and mutually respectful conversation, but that you will not tolerate insults or yelling. Walk away before she succeeds in provoking you to react in a way that doesn't reflect respect and love. #9 says to agree with her? If she's correct, sure; but if not, don't surrender your freedom of conscience. If you do, she will lose all respect for you, and women cannot love a man they do not respect. Later when she has calmed down, let her know that her feelings and thoughts are important to you, and that you are happy to discuss her unhappiness so long as you can both do so with mutual respect.
