I am from Russia, and I don't quite get the idea of this video. It is said in description: "Should we really be concerned with a country with a GDP some 15 times smaller than our own, with a rapidly aging population and no industry beside oil and gas?" So, are US people really concerned? These are all facts and it is obvious for me (as a Russian citizen) that American economy is bigger than ours and standarts of living are better. But really: "5 Reasons Why Russia Is No Match for the US"? I thought that this channel is more about science, but not politics and talks about why is someones country is better than the other.
We have many problems in Russia, but I don't see videos about why we are better than other countries on Russian television or YouTube channels. If the talk is about politics it is often about problems we have and how to cope with them. I think it is more important, rather than to talk about how great you are.

Don’t be so proud about how much you spend on your military most of your people are in debt for college and can’t even pay for health care, meanwhile in Europe college is free in some countries and health care is free everywhere, we think of the countries actually being great and free places to live in not advertise how great we are like most of America does. I’m not against America but I’m saying that you should find pride in the way you treat your fellow Americans as people rather than convince the rest of the world that your country is the great land. BTW I LOVE AMERICA, IM NOT TRYING TO HATE ON THEM BUT I WANTED PEOPLE TO KNOW WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT THEY MEAN BY SAYING AMERICA IS GREAT, NO COUNTRY IS GREAT NONE (I REPEAT NONE), so before people think I’m taking sides I’m not, I’m not American or Russian so frankly I don’t care.

I can't believe what I just listened to. I had a feeling as soon as I saw the Charles KOCH foundation on this. Oh boy, we have a bigger economy and bigger guns! At the expense of student debt and lack of Healthcare. At least Russia can give its people free health and education.

Completely misses the point.

You don't have to be powerful to topple a government, you just have to knock it off balance by interfering with the mechanics of government.

By influencing the process and thus outcomes of elections, you can swing the balance of power. It's how kendo allows a weaker opponent to topple a more powerful one. You don't need brute force, just strategic point attacks.

I always knew Russia wasn’t that powerful but they should be taken seriously but they lost the Cold War.
