I always use chicken thighs! I prefer them because they taste far better than breasts. We also freeze leftovers into a divided container. It's kinda like a tv dinner, but, it's real food! Thanks for the awesome videos! I love watching them!

Good point about making sure your bags are freezer grade. I mistakenly used storage instead of freezer bags. Good thing, I didn't keep the items too long.

Great job your presentation is always so outstanding I use probably at least 75% of what you pointed out for us to apply. I just got my freezer less than 2 months ago and it is great, before I could not take advantage of discounts or useful sales to me, but now I can. I also purchased a food sealer (vacuum), plus I watched a lot of videos to determine what type of freezer would work best for me. I ended up with the chest type. I even bought extra shelving, it came with one slider shelf only . I love how you brought out the fact that living frugal, brings out our creativity, that is true. I am amazed at the new dishes and ways to really stretch the dollar God Has blessed me with. I just love this channel you inspire and encourage me each time. So if no else has tod you lately you are a Blessing. Thank you, God bless you, Love Ruthie

Thank you for sharing the freezing of veggies for stocks! I recently decided to cook a big batch of soup to freeze later. I had this many veggie scraps and put them in the fridge, long story short I forgot they were there and grew mold instead. Freezing them makes more sense!!

Thank you for your tips! You should make these kind of videos more often and if you can do make some food prep .

Really good tips! The visual with the batch cooking was misleading as lettuce CANNOT be frozen. Meat with cooked veggies works really well. I personally only use batch cooking for things like soups, stews and such. What works well for me is "serial cooking". For example I make oven fries for dinner and use the leftovers to make a skillet breakfast (with meat, veggies and egg) the next morning. Or the leftover veggies from any taco meal (lettuce or cabbage, etc.) go into a salad the next day. I plan my menu that way so that leftovers get used up in another meal.
I sure enjoy your enthusiasm! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the zip top recommendation. I always seem to end up with freezer burned food I had no idea it’s because there’s oxygen in the container!

At times I would finish an orange, throw it inside my cup of water I thought I finished.
Only to find out that the peels were still inside. It( the water) taste like orange.

I save money on groceries because I switched to an animal-based diet: no sugar of any kind, seed oils, veggies, fruits, nuts, vegetable oils, processed foods, junk foods, fast foods, pre-packaged foods, etc. And by eating an animal-based diet I find I only need to eat once or twice a day. I'm not even hungry for snacks! I no longer waste money because I have to throw out rotten veggies and fruits and rancid oils and nuts, for example. I spend less money on food now than I did when I ate those other things.
