Lahaina's Front Street filled with burned cars abandoned by drivers who ran for their lives

Front Street is the main thoroughfare to get out of Lahaina. The roadway was filled with shells of burned out cars. There was a nightmarish traffic jam to get out of town. But when the flames began to overwhelm the roads, drivers abandoned their cars and ran for their lives.

The reason why the road was full of burned out vehicles, is because the police blocked the exits! I would've smashed their car and ran them over.

The burnt out cars are FORENSIC evidence, the direction they were traveling, and where they got stuck points to police roadblocks which impeded a safe and timely exit. My guess is that this evidence will be among the FIRST to be removed and disposed of under the guise of "debris removal".

You never used to see cars in the middle of the street all burnt up almost melted during fires, untill they started using DEW

Can someone please talk about how the police blocked Front Street preventing people from leaving. That’s why people abandoned their cars to escape.

Did anyone mention the cop that blockaded the cars on Front St from escaping? A local named Fish witnessed it and even tried to convince the cop to move. The cop said he had orders

Truly a nightmare happened here. Exactly the same scenario that happened in Paradise, California 5 years ago. The difference being that was a mountain town that was vulnerable to a fast-moving fire. Who would have thought a fire could have burned down this town in Maui?

It’s interesting how these “fires” avoid primary colors. It’s wake up time, people. This is a crime scene pure and simple. This microwave technology event was deliberate.

Wild fires burn approx 1100, 1200 degrees . It takes over 2, 000 degrees to melt automotive glass, aluminum wheels . WTF !
