Another great video. Do you think you could discuss the current budget situation and how it could be holding up job hiring? A friend in the USAG had mentioned this to me. I've been waiting to hear from Direct Hire jobs in 11-01. Another topic I'm exploring is leave accrual adjustment for current local and state government and if it applies or only veterans. I'm curious if I could negotiate both govt since I already receive veterans time. Thanks again!

I recently applied for the Initial Assistance Representative (Clerk) - Area 3 (12-Month Roster) with the Dept of Trasury in my area. I have banking, customer service, admin, and clerical work experience. After, I am done with my degree this year I would like to work for the IRS as a financial analyst. Do you think i can apply for a GS-7 position from a GS-5 position a year into the clerk job?
