Editing STL files THE EASY WAY

I have used Meshlab, Sketchup, etc, and none of them can easily edit STL files. Then I found TinkerCAD, which can easily import all STL files, and makes editing them super easy for anyone to do! Enjoy!

Great video. I used this procedure to cut a piece apart and make it longer. I imported my stl and instead of making a round hole I made a rectangular hole over part of the model, then imported it again and cut out the opposite piece with a little extra left. Once I put the pieces next to each other I grouped them. They technically have a tiny gap and simplify 3d sort of treats them as separate pieces, but the print seems to be whole so far. Tinkercad runs horrible on my computer though, I may need to try a different browser. Again, great video was exactly what I needed.

What'd be a good tool for modifying a mesh by rotating or bending parts of it? I can't find any good tutorials on that. For context, I'm trying to (lightly) re-pose a couple gaming figurines, to modify positions of arms or hands before printing them. Can anything (Sketchup? TinkerCAD?) do this sort of thing?

So handy but I'm doing 3D minis and they're too complicated for importing haha. I really want to put in 0.8mm and 2mm holes in things really easily, plus slice off bases, etc.
