Easy steps to Reduce STL file triangles & size with Meshmixer and then import them to Tinkercad. A great skill when you are working with Thingiverse projects you want to modify the file size or triangles.

Mesh Mixer is a fabulous free tool from Autodesk. I am barely scratching the surface of its potential so feel free to ask for more tutorials.

I love your tutorials, but, as badly as I want to utilize Meshmixer because I LOVE Tinkercad, I've downloaded it 4 times today. Started with the 32-bit and just got a crash and burn report every time I tried to open it after installation. Uninstalled and after 2 attempts, went with the 64-bit, and same story. Download, install, boot it, crash, and burn. Is there a trick of some sort? I have a really complicated .STL I want to print and I can't get it simplified to bring into Tinkercad. Any help at all is better than trashing my computer, which I'm tempted to do at the moment.
