I tried this, and when I went to convert to shape (0.45 in video), I got this message: "<class 'Part.OCCError'>: Shape is not a shell
10:50:41 Cannot convert [Filename] because Shape is not a shell."

Can you make an STL into a sketch? Once I make the mesh to a solid, then refine the image, I end up with a nice solid, but I can't figure out how to make it so that I can constraint the lines to add the dimensions and end up with a working sketch. This way I can put the dimensions into a spreadsheet and make the part parametric. Can you help?

I have tried your way and the official way on the FreeCAD documentation, but scaling with the Draft Workbench isn't working. I'm always getting:
Unable to scale object: my_object - This object type cannot be scaled directly. Please use the clone method.

How can you do this? I know the Mesh Workbench scale, but this is too limited because you can only scale based on a factor

I wish they could make them prismatic like Fusion 360 does... If you create a model in FreeCAD from scratch, it is prismatic, but if you convert stl, it still has t splines on all rounded edges. I really want to move away from using that overpriced laggy Fusion 360, but this is the only thing keeping me from learning another program.
