Bodycam video shows moment Georgia dad was taken to jail while his baby was left in a hot car

The man is charged with murder because police say he did not alert officers that his daughter was in the car as he was turning himself in on outstanding warrants.

He probably forgot she was in the car and you never ever leave any child underage in the car without an adult. He's guilty of negligence and stupidity.

So I am confused. If he was arrested at the station for weapons, and his car was at the station, wouldn’t SOP be to search said vehicle?

Some people will defend their criminal kin folk and friends no matter what. Especially if the police are involved because they hate them so much. They can be standing right there and see one of their criminal friends or relatives shoot and kill another criminal friend or relative and they would still blame it on the police. Folks not speaking up is why crimes don't get solved. If my child had been left in a car I would have been screaming to the top of my lungs about it. If the police didn't hear it somebody in that police station certainly would have. I would have made such a fuss that it definitely would have been caught somewhere and numerous times on the police station video.
