Hearing people complain about the traffic is a complete joke. Please try driving in the morning and afternoon rush hour traffic in major cities like New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles to name a few. Trust me, driving through Lake Nona traffic is not bad in comparison.

And just like any good areas, you paid more because you get more, Lake Nona is no different than Dr. Philips or Windermere, for that matter. Lake Nona offers A rated schools and has a medical city that offers great health care options. Lake nona is also located minutes away from Orlando International Airport and Brightline high-speed train service to Miami. Furthermore, Lake Nona is 20 to 30 minutes away from downtown Orlando and all the theme parks.

In closing, there are very few karens/kens in all parts of the country that will cry and complain about anything and everything under the sun!! There is a word for this, and it's called self entitlement. If you dont like a place, then just move. Last I checked, it's still a free country, right?

I too wanted to move to Lake Nona. I probably will in the future. I'm working on building up my stock portfolio for covered calls so I don't have to worry about working when I am ready to move. I have business interest with the cruise industry. I have no interest in buying a home and I found some nice apartments in Lake Nona for some pretty reasonable prices. And I have ebikes, so I can commute on my ebike. If I want to go to the parks, Uber. When it time to do business, I can work out of my home office. I really really like Lake Nona, and I think it'll be great for someone like me, as long as you know what to do.

It's not that expensive if you are financially secured and are running your own business to sustain the upgrade in lifestyle. There is not a lot of traffic because there is access to major interstates like 417 and 528. They have been building schools so the overcrowding has been addressed and it's super nice and peaceful to live here. I do agree the rate of housing have gone up as the quality of life has gotten better and that is understandable.

Lake Nona is experiencing an explosion of move-ins from all parts of central Florida. Majority of all the people i knew that lived in Kissimmee all moved to Lake Nona. I have no idea how they can manage the influx. Celebration is well designed and always has a nice balance of folks but Lake Nona is experience a massive influx. Beautiful place but i just dont know how they will manage with the current infrastructure setup. They have alot of capital we shall see.

Traffic in the area sucks, housing super overpriced and they’re literally all super close together

Orl resident for 65+ yrs. Its been unbearable for 15 + yrs. Traffic, cost of living, property taxes and insurance of any kind are insane. I'm selling my office and moving out of state. The quality of life here is destroyed.

If moving to Lake Nona, prepare yourself for crazy drivers from St Cloud and Kissimmee that surrounds you.

Is there any night life in Lake Nona yet? I'd drive there to hang out and meet some women, especially after my VA appointments😄
