Wheat Naan :
Crisp and light whole wheat naan recipe.There is no maida and no tandoor required to make this naan.

Ingredients :

wheat flour - 1 cup
all purpose flour - 1/2 cup
fresh curd - 1/2 cup
salt to taste
kalonji seeds - 1 tbsp
butter - 1 tbsp
baking soda - 1 tbsp
oil - 4-5 tbsp

Recipe :

1.Take wheat flour, all purpose flour, fresh curd, baking soda, oil and salt in a large mixing bowl.
2.Add water at a time and knead to make a smooth dough. Knead well for at least 4 to 5 minutes so the dough gets a good texture once it gets cooked.
3.Cover the dough and allow it rest in a warm place for at least 2 hours until it doubles in size.
4.After an hour, pinch a small lemon sized ball.
5.Dust with some maida and roll to a oval shape using rolling pin.
6.Make sure you do not make too thin nor thick.
7.Apply water on one side of naan.
8.Now slowly flip over and put it on hot tawa.
9.Apply Butter on other side and sprinkle kalonji seeds,Slightly press it.
10.Now after a minute, flip the naan. And cook from other side also.
11.Finally add some more butter.
12.Serve wheat naan hot.
