you probably forgot the worst job: underwater welder and underwater maintenance in general. it's an insanely dangerous job, but at least is rewarding in terms of pay. most workers on these jobs have had at least one moment where their lives flahed before their eyes.

The real number 1 worst job is the spelunker / cave explorer. Some people actually get paid for this. Caves are known to be very cold, and some passages are insanely tight and you can get stuck.

as a 15-year-old that had went through the Chesapeake fire explorers club, and when through the training real fighter fighters have to do to even pass the academy. it is physically exhausting, and I pulled a muscle that caused my right arm to hurt to even lift past my stomach, and I needed help opening a water bottle. not to mention the stress and the heat alone can cause people to quit, it is extremely hard and exhausting. the thing is that they don't know when or what the next call is, most calls are medical related. there are calls from a fire, to powerline falling down, to the most gruesome things a human can't even imagines. sometimes even questioning how people are still alive. fire fighters don't get enough credit.

I have been thinking about the most obvious job out there you could also have put in here.... The MINER!!! It's extremely dangerous, physically and mentally draining, you work in the dark most of the time, the chance of injuries is extremely high, there's a possibility of deadly gas leakages, and finally - let's face it - you can get BURIED TO DEATH BY RUBBLE.

Another one that is a bit better but still absolutely crap is the trash collector 🤢

The fact my dad used to work as a firefighter but only tells me about the funny stories about hi time working there and not the traumatizing ones makes me wonder how many traumatizing moment does he have in his head he never mentions to me, while it is possible he probably didn't get as much trauma as others since every firefighter job experience is diferent i can't help but wonder if he even got any in the first place

Hey, here's one worse thing about morticians, I'm not sure if it's them but I think they also work in the morgue where- they have organs and stuff and also heal people by putting the organs in their body so it's very disgusting
