As a DSP, I feel your pain. My coworkers had to deal with a client who was getting very violent after the neglectful RN gave her a medication that induces psychosis. 🤦‍♀️

Coworkers had bloodied arms, glass was everywhere, they weren't allowed to even do a hold on her, and the cops that they called just... stood and watched. 😭

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS. I'm just comming off working for a supportive housing complex for people like this, and it was driving me mad WHY they wouldn't evict people that assaulted, sexually harrassed, threatened and harrassed staff and other tenants no matter HOW many times they misbehaved. A friend of mine would not drop the subject after she had two fingers broken by someone, and she got quietly fired and eventually won a wrongful termination LAWSUIT because they're THAT worried about obeying HIPPA. WHAT THE ACTUAL SUGAR-COATED FUCK IS UP WITH THAT??

I used to work with people with advanced dementia, got real good at swerving. Working there convinced me to never do anything related to psychiatry, cuz at least dementia patients forget.
