I would've never believed Mila Kunis never danced prior to Black Swan. She did such a fantastic job in this role!

Being a former ballerina, it is definitely an extremely physically demanding sport.

i love how she said her injuries, then said she loved every minute of it.. quite profound.. 🌹

As a former ballerina, I can confirm that it can be truly grueling and very mentally demanding as well. So much so that it can catch you off guard as far as mental health goes if you aren’t careful.

It is crazy what a harsh physical activity ballet is. Strenuous, painful, unforgiving — and yes, injuries.

All respect to Ms Kunis.

She's never looked more beautiful.

Damn In the movie she dances so well. It looks effortless. It’s strange to hear she didn’t dance before that. She must be a natural.

I was a parent helper on one of my son's school trips (a week long). One of the activities was a tour through a theatre which was the HQ of our National Ballet Company. So, we got an insight into the lives of professional Ballet performers .... WOW. As someone who was brought up playing Rugby, Rugby League, other contact sports and a history of the injuries associated with it .... I was blown away on how physically fit, strong and how much pain your average ballet performer goes through. It's mind blowing. There lives are either practicing for the next project, recovering from injuries or staying fit in their spare time ie. gym, crossfit, weights, cardio, etc. They rival a lot of sportsmen for physical strength, mental toughness and pain threshold. When players on a field or court get injured, they get taken off. When ballet performers get injured ... they continue the performance with a smile on their face ... then go to the hospital after.

So, I can understand what she's on about.

I remember that I thought she was pretty cute on That 70's Show, but now her beauty is in a league of its own. Wow.

How she didn’t get Oscar nominated for Black Swan is something I don’t understand

I have mad respect for ballet dancers! I can't believe what they put themselves through for the love of dance 🩰

Even though most part of the dancing was danced by professionals but Mila and Natalie must fit in the movie so basically the training was for their look. Amazing how much effort they put in that movie.
