Ashton Kutcher and wife Mila Kunis are speaking out after they received backlash for writing character letters for Danny Masterson during his rape trial.

“We are aware of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson,” the “Punk’d” creator began alongside his wife in a video message shared on Instagram Saturday.

Let’s be honest they never thought their letters with their true feelings were ever going to be public

They’re actors and they couldn’t even pretend they meant these words. I guess they needed a director for this sad excuse of an apology. Very pathetic.

Mila, we can tell you were reading from a script…

This isn’t an apology.

“I’m sorry you’re upset by this.”

Mila didn’t even try to say her lines naturally and looked irritated that she had to do this. She was giving defiant energy like when your mom tells you to apologize to your sibling. She seems very angry but heavily concealing it. I have to watch again to see Ashton but Mila definitely stood out.

They sound annoyed that they have to apologize for that.

For over 20 years, no compassion for the victims.THIS, IS NOT A COMPASSIONATE VIDEO.
This is a video of them finding out too late that their letter to the judge would be made public.

It just proves it all over again that scientologists will do anything to protect other scientologists no matter how serious of a crime they have committed.

Bull💩.
They fully admire and support Danny Masterson. They just didn’t think the letters would be made public. They wrote those letters after he was found guilty. They wanted leniency for him. Not justice for the victims.

Why doesn’t she say “Our hearts go out to Danny’s victims”?

They both showed their true selves when they made the decision to write the letters defending a predator. No public apology will save their credibility.

In both their letters they went on and on about how Danny supposedly was very outspoken against drugs. This is a direct attack to the victim's claims that they were all drugged by Danny. And it is ignorant and hypocritical due to them obviously knowing Danny is an alcoholic. Is alcohol not a drug? What an insensitive bs apology. They completely discounted the victims and still refused to apologize TO them. And what is with Mila's attitude? Foh with that.

It’s so touching for them to slam Will Smith for assaulting someone at the Oscars, while also expressing love and support for a convicted r****t.

Mila Kunis sounds and is showing she is more annoyed than anything.

if mila wants to appear genuine she should probably stop using her PR voice

Your apology is terrible. Why don’t you just say the truth. That you only care about victims when it’s befitting you and your reputation.

I don't see why you support that creep. Public face differs from a private face.
