I was told there was 2 Lamborghini Murcielago's which had been left for over 7 years in a storage unit. There was a price for both of them and me being me i chose the cheap one with more of a bigger issue! The manual v12 murcielago is becoming a rare car so i knew if i could repair it the huge risk would pay off. But is it fixable??

Just wanted to say congratulations on another fantastic video. I am delighted to see you have your Dad helping you. Hope you Dad appears on the channel in the future. I lost my Dad exactly a year ago. I have lots of memories of him and I working on cars. Keep doing what you're doing Mat. 😎.

Just found your channel. I spent 25 years customizing cars, machining custom parts, adapters, etc.., and wouldn’t have hesitated to buy a project like this. Love your attitude and the fact you talk in crayons for those who may not understand. I’m going to follow to see how you finish this project.

Mad respect. I bought a Lamborghini Jalpa years ago that took me 4 years to restore. It was mechanically just devastated, taken apart, and abandoned in a garage. The interior and everything else was in great shape. It was a hell of a journey to restore and it was worth all the time spent, it still puts a huge smile on my face. I had to print parts, fabricate parts, and have some stuff custom machined just to get it working. In my journey for parts, I was told by a well known shop that works on Lamborghinis, when I called them asking for parts, to "sell the car, they weren't going to waste time on my car, it would never be back on the road, go back to being a hotrod guy, you sound like one." I guess doing my own work was frowned upon. After the car was finished, and I had done a full EFI conversion, I was lucky enough to have the wallstreet journal reach out to do a section on "My Ride" as someone had told them about my restoration, so I guess that shop that told me I was wasting my time can kick rocks. Anyway, moral of the story, take it a piece at a time, take your time, do it right, YOU CAN DO IT, and I look forward to seeing you get it back on the road. Even if people tell you that you're crazy or can't do it, Lamborghini cars are a labor of love and passion.

I've had the pleasure of driving a murci a few times in my life and they are absolutely amazing to drive. The howl of the v12, the acceleration, the feel, the interior, they're just amazing cars. Lamborghinis are an event EVERY time you drive one. Congrats and looking forward to seeing the journey! Also you got a GATED Murci, nice choice man. It's going to be a hell of a proud feeling when you're done. You might give the guys at bullstuff a call, they've been extremely helpful when I needed weird parts and advice, they're very knowledgeable. They also have diagrams for virtually everything on all the different models throughout the years.

Mat i dont want your vids to end. Theyre ace and also proper emotional with the classical bits and the cars looking sorry for themselves. Keep it up. Love the descriptions and talking us through the bad and good bits before you work on it. The insights. The camera footage is ace too!!❤

I’ve got 100% faith in your ability to fix this car. You are a good problem solver and good at thinking outside the box which is what’s required when working on these types of cars. Go for it- YOU CAN DO IT 👍

It is wonderful to see your Dad working alongside you. I was not so fortunate as mine died 66 years ago when I was 4. You really do enjoy trying to take on the impossible, and somehow you always manage to achieve it. The very best of luck with this one !!!

Mat you know what I really love about your builds? That you go all out and you aren't afraid of putting new steering wheels on your cars and that you actually upgrade the interior when you work on them. I feel a lot of other builders ignore that part of the car.

Yet again, Mat brings his A-game. He must story-board each episode to make them so interesting and professional-looking. I love the fact that he's always thinking outside of the box - e.g. his wide choice of backing music to help set the scene. Everyone else just goes with mind-numbing drum & bass that has no emotion other than mental robotic enslavement. Not Mat, he cleverly mixes up classical with a wide array of sounds.. That takes confidence and creativity. Mat never blindly follows the crowd, he sets the pace for others to try and keep up.. in every aspect of his channel.. Well done dude.... Live long and prosper
