People are crazy if they think this Reno is slow going! I can’t believe you’ve gotten so much done in the last year all while working regular jobs. You have an amazing family!

Very nice recap. I do appreciate that it was a normal length video. So many other channels are doing 1-2 hours of yearly recaps, the length of an actual movie, way too long. You guys have accomplished quite a bit, some real major tasks, got a grant and still have a great outlook! All more exciting things to come.

What an absolute EPIC year you've gone through! You have worked intensely hard for everything you've been able to reap. And you've taken us with you on this journey. Have been fevering with you since the beginning of these efforts - and you never cease to fully amaze in all you take on. Conquering Hilary and the garden - and all the work on the cottage. WOW! Just...WOW. Here's to a hopefully new round of POSITIVE happenings in 2025! All the best!

I'm sure there are days that it's easy for you to forget just how much progress you've made but videos like this one are a great reminder. You've worked hard, your gardens produced some impressive yields, the chickens provide eggs abundantly, and you expanded your growing space tremendously. Rescuing those lovely ponies, taking gates for walks, floating staircases, impressive driving skills, and squeezing everything from storage into one trip. It shows you're up for whatever the next challenge is. All while dodging weather you never expected, at the worst possible times and still you smile. You've learned a bunch along the way, gotten your exercise climbing Hillary and this year your dream home will emerge from all the endless mud and rubble. Just one Winter is a good mantra ❤ you got this!

Congratulations on your first year, it’s just incredible what you have achieved - a real inspiration. The best of luck for 2025. Btw, the Irish word for that muddy/boggy ground is ‘puiteach’.

Well done. Ireland is beautiful. Some of my ancestors came from there to here in England. At one point apparently some irish were living on 45 potatoes a day as it was such a successful crop once it was discovered in the USA and brought over. I love the work on the cottage and the wonderful garden. As a mother who bought ponies for daughters, I can certain testify to the bond between children and their ponies - so strong even today my adult one has recently bought horses again on her own land which her children and she ride. it is really important children get outside in the countryside, not just sit in towns inside all day. Well done.

Oh my goodness, me. Hauling the compost up that steep hill must have been back breaking for Kayvan. You two have done such an awesome job. Well done, you! I love your upbeat attitude towards achieving your goals. Your garden is fabulous! Living through your first year with all the challenges of the land and the changeable weather and still being able to laugh is a wonderful thing. Good luck as you continue on. Many blessings to you all. Take care. ❤

✨YOU BOTH SHOULD INVEST IN A 4x4 all terrain vehicle with a bed in the back of it to use for taking anything that needs to go up and down the hills or anywhere around the property. It would be so much easier 🕯✨

You’re living my dream and look forward to every moment with your beautiful family. My husband and I have renovated 2 homes in 2 different states and are so proud of what we’ve accomplished. We’re now in our 70’s and are enjoying the fruits of our labor. Our acre of garden is an ongoing project…always growing and changing, but still beautiful and full of veggies, flowers, birds, bees, and butterflies!

Incredible what you guys have accomplished in one year! Your videos and journey is fascinating and amazing. How you guys are able to stay so postive with all the chaos around you is beyond me. I can't fathom taking on something of this magnitude. It seems so overwhelming. Truely amazing. Somewhere around the 4:50 mark (?) with Kayvan standing next to the branch pile holding that small ax....priceless. Had to laugh. Looking forward to more videos, and maybe even some pony cameos/photobombs here and there? ;)
