That's okay, John. We all love your voice, and that's what matters.

*John probably wanted a pretty voice, like Paul's. But pretty voices are a dime a dozen. Unique, soul-filled voices with strong character are the real gems.

It is so hard for me to believe that John hated his voice which was so beautiful and expressive. It was a voice that could cut you like the sharpest razor! And the harmony of the Beatles was just like angels singing!

It’s kind of beautiful that “imagine” probably really encapsulated that “perfect” song john was going for. It’s basically a song about imagining an ideal and perfect world.

The mind of a perfectionist. The realized piece never lives up to the idealized piece, be it a song, a painting, or what have you.

Bizarre, glib, totally unappreciative and disrespectful that he would say that about Strawberry Fields Forever to George Martin. Martin's orchestral arrangement is genius and some ways I believe he should have received a song writing credit with this song? SFF is in many ways is the pinnacle of the Beatles creativity. I think Lennon would say many things that he would later regret.
