I can’t help but wonder if the real reason George RR Martin won’t finish those books is because the ending is actually exactly the same as D&D’s show ending and since literally EVERYONE hated it it’s got him stuck in a crippling writer’s block like “What the fuck do I do now?”

In 2012 I was a member in the official ASOIAF Forum and was suspended for suggesting a boycott of any GRRM appearances in order to force him to finish the damn books. They suspended me for it lol. That was 12 fucking years ago.
