Best advice I ever heard for panic attacks is to try and make it worse. Its your fear of it that keeps the cycle going, so why not encourage it. It's the only thing that ever worked for me. Just grit your teeth and internally scream "GIVE ME ALL YOU GOT MOTHERFUCKERRRR!"

When I used to have panic attacks, I would try deep breathing techniques, open my bedroom window especially if it’s cold out and something about the cold blowing air would help, like a breathe of fresh air or drink a cold bottle of water and the last thing I would do is what I call tricking my own brain with positive thoughts. But it can be very overwhelming but also reach out and call a family member or friend. Sometimes it helps to have someone be with you until it passes over.
