Fire ants have the strength in numbers and aggressiveness. Upgrading your soldier nests may be expensive but it will not only make them stronger, but will also give you 2 soldiers at level 3, promoting aggressive swarming tactics.

tip: place food tiles directly on top of or in front of the door so the ants just drop the food and leave almost immediately

tips for fire ants:

fire ants were built to be a little more expendable than other ants, they are easily replaced and do lot of damage at the cost of low health

at level three one ant tile can support two ants at the same time

the two different modifications have to do with their birth, one is when ants are not in combat, the tiles begin to glow and then they hatch for free
The other is when ants hatch they have slightly increased stats for a short amount of time

Bigheaded ants

bigheaded ants take expendable to a whole new level, one major ant is 25 food and 2 to hatch, they are extremely low in quality but make up for it in numbers, they do have a super ant version though than can compete with leafcutters, and are cheaper to produce

minimum black ants: the literal best at expendablility, the ants are cheap as heck and rely on numbers since they only have one soldier ant

A brand new gimic for aphids have been added, they will live on tall branches marked with yellow x's, you can move certain aphids to closer plants and sort of farm them, however, attacked any of the other colonies will cause them to raid your base for the aphid plant

Funfact: pitcher plants will use nectar with a toxin to lure bugs and make them fall into a acid pool and become bug soup for absorbtion

To those that are new, you can create a separate group of tiles of soldiers so that you can defend in multiple fronts. Just place the newly created group of tiles to a different roman numeral pheromones.
