'The Clone Wars Made The Prequels Better' DEBUNKED

I hate it when people say The Clone Wars Series, or The Sequel Trilogy are the reason people "suddenly" like the Prequels now. It's a super lazy analysis based on a lack of research and understanding. In this discussion/rant, I will dispute this terrible argument and put it down like a sick dog at the vet.

The thing is dislike the most about TCW is how it portrayed Anakin. I heard that Dave Filoni told Matt Lanter to act like a mix between Luke and Han rather than actually acting like Anakin. It's disrespectful to Hayden's brilliant portrayal of the character imo. Even if disrespect wasn't intended, it certainly rubs me the wrong way. Matt Lanter's portrayal of Anakin is just too different to the movies.

While I would admit that TCW has its moments, I find it to be a bit overrated in comparison to the Clone Wars Multimedia Project, especially the microseries.

I think that Rogue One fans are a bit in that category aswell. Not saying you shouldn’t like Rogue One or anything, but people who love that movie—from what I’ve witnessed—seem to hate everything else Star Wars related, some literally claiming it “the only good Star Wars movie” or some bullshit like that.

i like TCW but not a fanatic about it. it's retconned and change things about the original clone wars content which was annoying. EU clone wars multimedia project is better than TCW. currently rereading republic commando novels that i read in middle school.

The Prequels are amazing on their own. It doesn't need an animated series to "fix" any so called "flaws." I myself never needed the Sequels to realize how over hated the Prequels were and are. I did a rewatch of the films in 2014 after not watching them since the late 2000s and I was like: "what's the big hoopla? Why are these films considered "bad?"
