The Clone Wars Documentary

Award-winning (self-given) in-depth documentary about the Clone Wars period in Star Wars history. After a thousand years of peace, the Galactic Republic is ripped apart at the seams by a sinister plot hatched by the Sith. They pit the destitute and disenfranchised citizens of the Outer Rim against the elite policy makers living in the Core. The Jedi march directly into battle with the newly created Grand Army of the Republic, completely unaware that the clone troopers they must trust with their lives are programmed to kill them.

Not only is it fantastic and helped to build a starting point of the 3D one, but despite it technically "not being canon" The Clone Wars team did their best to make the 3D show *in tangent* with the 2D one so you could watch both and have little conflicting information (alteast in regards to volume 1 since everyone knows volume 2 was uncanonized long before volume 1 because of the differences between it and the start of RotS (grievous, ect))

As a person how loves fantasy/sci-fi for their worldbuilding and setting elements, I don't understand how Star Wars can even have a consistent canon at this point with so many works by so many people. I can't imagine that its all consistent in the way that books created by a single author can be. But its really cool to see people diving into it like this; in terms of worldbuilding, it is probably the most extensive universe out there.
