Star Wars Attack of the Clones - Obi-Wan Meet The Clone Army for the Republic.

An assassination on Coruscant led Obi-Wan Kenobi to the remote planet of Kamino – which, oddly, had been erased from the Jedi Archives. Obi-Wan learned that the Kaminoans were known for creating clones – and all they cared about was whether one could pay for their services.

i just love the idea that from the jedis' perspective, obi-wan laves the temple to track down some bounty hunter and a couple days later calls back like "so... we have an army now"

I love the Kaminoans. They're not overly evil or anything, but there's something about them, they way they look and move and talk, that's just faintly sinister. Even though they never actually betray Obi-Wan, you can't shake the feeling that they're not to be trusted.

Although it’s been retconed, the “completely obedient, follow any order WITHOUT QUESTION” was great foreshadowing by George Lucas, just shows how well thought out the prequels were, foreshadowing the legends explanation for why the clones killed the Jedi (before the inhibitor chip thing)

In the days leading up to Episode II, I'd actually missed the trailers which featured the clones, so I only ever knew what they looked like when I went to see the movie. And I assure you, when I first laid eyes on them, and knew what they probably meant, my jaw was on the ground 😲

The clones are impressive but I have to wonder what they're doing with their eating utensils when there is no food in their dishes.

Damn, watching this scene hits hard. Kenobi’s discovery of this army, the way every seat in the mess hall was full and young clones in training as well as the many being assembled and the thousands entering the Capital ships. Then there’s this last episode of Bad Batch, all the hallways and cloning chambers that once held even the embryo stages of clones all empty and this entire facility was just bombarded. 😔
