A new study finds people who eat at least three servings a day of whole grains have a lower risk of death from heart disease, stroke and cancer. CBS News' Jonathan Vigliotti reports.

These are correlational studies. Although it's obvious that there are benefits to eating whole grains, a causal relationship cannot be established. Those who choose to consume whole grains are likely more health conscious, exercise more, and take better care of themselves, which could also affect lifespan and risk of disease.

11 grams of dietary fiber for women, 15 grams for men, minimum per day. And GMOs aren't inherently dangerous, that's just what people who don't take the time to study genetics wish to believe. People fear what they don't understand.
