No one is doing the ENFP beat like you are, E. Thor. Thank you for seeing and understanding our seldom-noticed parts and making stuff about them! . . .

(1) I _do_ realize this video is all about INFJ, but you have with this reminded me of some features of INFJ//ENFP interaction and deepened my empathy for what you people go through when we overwhelm you with our mess ;-) of Ne findings.

I have been asked on more than one occasion by an INFJ dear one to please, please slow down. Not because he is uninterested in what I have to report and discuss, but because it can be just too much at a time for him to 'work in' to and 'work out' via his own deeper and slower pattern-detecting and analytical mental processes -- processes which, unlike my own, bring to bear an additional heavy cognitive burden of an Ni--Ti insistence on complex, thorough-going internal coherence.

This video helped me understand better exactly _how_ this can be a struggle for him.

(2) Great point about Ni's need to be 'fed' and challenged by contact with the fruits of Ne to refine its propositions and to render them in such a way that they may become comprehensible and useful to others <<< something that, among other things, will be very satisfying to an INFJ's deepest sense of purpose, I imagine. It also powerfully and usefully calls upon the ENFP to deepen their understanding of what they have in scattershot fashion found 'out there' and to evaluate more carefully and thoughtfully what of it is worth revisiting; keeping; revising, and spinning into theory, should that be a worthy, desirable goal.

My INFJ friends and I obtain a good deal of fulfillment from our mental collaborations and investigations into whatever is of mutual interest. It so often seems that the other holds the missing pieces to the same puzzle. It's such a delight to bounce around ideas and generate together a multitude of possible reasons as to why things are the way they are.

One INFJ friend in particular has also commented that, in collaboration with me, he feels his Ni very pleasantly affirmed by exercise of my Ne upon the same material. This, because my 'above-ground' path to discovery -- a path which often can be much more objectively validated and readily, clearly, and widely legible than the subterranean warren of his own interconnected insights -- nonetheless very satisfyingly leads to conclusions very similar to his own.

On many levels, it's a very fecund and joyful association for both parties.

thx for making the vid. i am ENFP and I have been often depressing its either because of pandemic or anything that I cant handle as I use my ENFP functions and I am still working on solve my stuff that I feel already messed up. i took quick personality test last night and the result was INFJ. ur video helps me a lot to discover more about my own personality especially how dynamic it already is.

I'm so confused about whether I'm an INFJ or an ENFP. Not sure why. I don't know if how I am is natural or a coping mechanism. I don't talk slowly, my brain works speedily leaping in a seemingly random way. Yet I fit into both descriptions somehow. I don't feel tortured like an INFJ is portrayed but I overthink. I feel like I have to reel in my energy a lot of the time in social situations. Is that intensity or is that childlike exuberance...or both 🧜🏼

it made perfect sense to me. :) i've said quite a few times by now that I believe that I'm an INFP inside, or that I see myself in INFPs, or they're my true soul, or my guardian angel. ;p Not having thought about MBTI formally in the past these intuitions are starting to make sense. :) I should say that they seem to have a little me inside them too.. so cute those spunky INFPs

Excellently informative as always, Erik Thor! I do have a question for you though. At one point in the video, you said INFJs tend to not realise sometimes that they are acting like ESTPs. When do they act like ESTPs and whats the trigger usually? Also, I have a suggestion. That captivating info graphic should have been part of the video and you could have gone more in depth as to how ENFP is the inner self of the INFJ, and more such about conscious and unconscious behaviours and what triggers them.

P.S. Can you do a video like this for ENFP too?😃
