Buy Now Or Wait For 2025? | 2024 Acura MDX Type S | POV Review

The 2024 Acura MDX Type S is a 3 row SUV with decent amount of power. The MDX Type S competes with other 3 rows such as the Lexus GX and the Volvo XC90.

There have been some changes for 2025 for the MDX Type S but its nothing that major we will see the front bumper and grille change a bit as well as the wheels and some tech on the inside other than that things are very similar tp the 2024. I really like the looks of all the type s Acura trims the MDX just looks its best with its Type S badge. The thing that disappointed me the most with the outside was the fact that we had really nice looking exhausts but they had no sound. The only exhaust noise we have on the MDX is the pumped in one.

The inside feels like a luxury truck as well we have everything we could ever want or need the adaptive air suspension is really nice and we have so many different massage options. We also get the touch pad to control the infotainment which i am not a fan of but the good new is that for 2025 they have removed it and added a full touch screen. Also the steering wheel is the same as the TLX and I like that as well. Overall the MDX is a really nice looking family SUV with a nice amount of power I always enjoy my time with it.

The TLX Type S has the same engine and a dramatically better sounding exhaust note.

Wait two years and buy used. The MDX has notoriously bad resale value.
