I’ll wait until they make the Ryzen 6070 or maybe 7070 if I’m patient enough

I will wait although I have nothing except a Intel core Pentium computer which is older than me

Here’s a question for you Zach that is in relation to upgrading.
What do you need to do in order to be able to safely remove/replace components without negativity impacting the PC?
Does completely unplugging the PC make it safe, or do additional things need to be done?

The problem with having an old PC is you need to upgrade everything. You want a new CPU? You need an AM5 motherboard. With a new motherboard you need to get a new windows key. With a new motherboard you need DDR5 ram probably. With a new CPU you need to get an upgrade to your GPU to prevent bottlenecking. You probably have an old 2TB HDD and you need new memory. And you also need a new PSU to actually power everything.

I upgraded from a Ryzen 3 3300x to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D ($280) and GTX 1660 Super to RX 7800 XT (effectively $370 with Gaming Bundle) a month ago. Pretty happy with my decision. New tech will always keep on coming every couple of years. One needs to be on the lookout for good deals that meet your requirements.

Should i get a 4k monitor or an 1440p OLED monitor for an RTX 4080 super?

Actually, you should wait a lot longer than that because at release it will be super difficult to get one so better wait until it starts to die down a bit

Hey guys, I have a $760 budget. I see this GTX 1080 laptop on Amazon for $540. Should I get it?
Edit: Hey guys, for my birthday yesterday, I got myself an Acer Nitro V15 with an RTX 4060. It's amazing! I can finally play high graphics in any game. In Warzone with Extreme settings and no DLSS, I get 70-98 fps. With DLSS performance and FG on, my fps skyrockets to 150-160 (Extreme graphics preset). It's insane. And on Apex Legends with Max graphics, I get 140-180 fps. I highly recommend it. It cost me $749 at Microcenter.

*I'm selling my GPU while it's got a bit of value, use a backup GPU and then buy next gen when it's out*

Plus if you wait you can save more money to have better tiers of products in the new generation of components

I'm gonna wait till 6090 comes out.

Prices for LGA 1700 should also drop with the new Intel Socket right? Maybe a worthy AM4 contender for a budget build as they are already similarly priced and even support ddr5. Yes 13th and 14th gen is a problem but 12th gen already gives the 5000 series a run for their money...

Knowing Nvidia, the 5090 will cost at least $2, 000, maybe even more than $2, 500 if they feel like being even greedier
