The issue with schizophrenia delusional rants is they are not stupid. They are well thought out with details and aspects of true observations. They can be difficult for those who are trying to listen and be understanding to counter if you dont know there is mental illness present.

As a social worker my most memorable moment was my client telling me that that she was a part of some sort of game and then cracking out a filled notebook with details and NAMES in it of people involved. She said she watches the news to get clues.

I think the point (for those not getting it) is delusions can be vague like this and trigger from mere suggestion of any kind and/or classic losing touch and missing key details and logic.
Everyone experiences schizophrenia uniquely but this portrays an aspect of delusional thinking.

I've legit heard people without mental illnesses straight up believe some of the delusions I had during psychosis. And let me tell you, they were whacky as hell. The difference between a schizophrenic and a guru quite often is a good dose of charisma and that's about it.
