Should You Buy an Ultrawide Gaming Monitor? 32" G8 OLED (G80SD) Vs 34" OLED G8 (G85SD)

Today, I show you differences with the latest QD OLED gaming monitors as seen on the Samsung Odyssey G8 G80SD 32" Vs. Samsung Odyssey G8 G85SD/G85SB 34" Ultrawide monitors.

Here we see a 16:9 native and 21:9 native screen modes and how they look Vs. Each other and on each native panel. A specific Vs. Days Gone gaming video is coming soon so see the video section or keep notifications fully ON so you dont miss that video..

Also, finally you can see on the G85SB 34" that SDR mode Peak Brightness is still an option while on the New G80SD 32" and G85SD 34" in SDR mode are disabled. You miles may vary but if you buy the G85SB 34" older model (at awesome prices may I add) and want that SDR brightness mode do not update at any point.

Do not connect to internet at all for that peak brightness option. (The G85SB Monitor may already be updated to a newer software per samsung so again you situation may vary)

finaly a comparison both are amazing i had the g8 ultrawide but i bought the g80sd.... is far more superior on 4k gaming the crisp on the image is unreal

Hi, are you still planning to do a review of the LG 27GR95UM? There's barely any out there, half of which in foreign languages and not enough coverage lol
if so would love to see if you can do a comparison in SDR with LD on and OFF to see how much it improves every day tasks

I was fortunate enough to have both and I think the g80sd is far superior. Both in software and in performance.

I definitely prefer 21:9 for PC gaming. I have both the LG C2 42 and 45GR95QE-B and still prefer playing on the latter as I find that the immersion impact of the aspect ratio is greater than the impact of simply having increased detail and fidelity due to a 4K image. As an added bonus, I also get better performance and framerate because it's not as taxing to my system.

I had both. then i sell my g85sd
That curve was messing with my eyess and gave me headache even after a year
And yes the 34 oled was so brighter but i think it was because of the glossy coating. I used that mostly on zero brightness
But with this g80sd thats way too dark.
