Eggs are one of the most versatile foods. [AD] I mean you can scramble them, soft or hard boil them, poach, devil— or bake ‘em into a cake. Like… Come onnnnn! 😍

I’ve been seeing more and more people sharing how they’re eating only the whites or just not eating eggs at all. I’m here to tell you something…. The ‘avoid eggs to be healthier’ narrative isn’t true. Here are a couple reasons why 👇

1️⃣ Re: cholesterol 👉 the cholesterol in food does not impact your body’s cholesterol like we once thought; therefore, eggs do not impact heart health- so enjoy!

2️⃣ Eggs can help you eat MORE plants (ummm a veggie packed omelet is delish!) and they can help you better absorb certain nutrients found in said veggies.

3️⃣ The choline in eggs (they’re one of the most concentrated food sources of choline in the American diet!) helps support lifelong brain health at every age and stage, including memory,
thinking, mood and more.

I always felt so sad when I was "supposed" to eat just egg whites! All the flavor is in the yolk!

I’ve commented on these vids multiple tines, but cholesterol is built into us (cells). It’s only a problem of eating too much. Also, the yolk is the best part.
And besides, people act like protein is the ONLY necessary thing to eat. Like what about vegetables and fruit? Vitamins and minerals? You need carbs and lipids. Like seriously people, research before spreading misinformation.

Tip for the best egg sandwich ever: don’t pop the yolk and let it get over hard, cook it to normal sunny side up then pop out the yolk on to the bread and treat it like a spread. Delicious soft unctuous yolk in every bite but no yolky explosion mess!

Living in a world were you have to take out the yolk of an egg to be considered healthy or to make them "low calorie" is crazy! It's an egg!! Each one baerly have between 70-80 calories (less than most sources of protein) and there's a reason why the egg comes with a yolk. Plus why would you throw out food like that?

I don't like yolks, so I separate them and cook the whites, then use the yolks to make French toast

Tbh I don’t eat the yolk, not because it’s “bad” or is high in cholesterol, it’s just cuz I don’t like it😂
But I’m conscious that it’s high in nutrients and it’s healthy
