If a Facehugger lands on Chris, does it mean that it gets Stuckmannized?

The problem with Prometheus, and to a lesser extent Covenant wasn’t the big ideas, it was the rampant character stupidity.

Hands down the android guy gave one of the best acting performances I have seen in years. In my opinion he should get an Oscar just for that role. He was damn good!

Someone needs to greenlight a brutal Dead Space film. Fede directing with Glen Schofield producing.

Chris mentions the feeling of Dead Space and its connection to Alien.

Isolation: Am I a joke to you?

Personally I always felt that the real secret of ‘Alien’ was that it was a simple, well-made horror flick that just happened to take place in space. Similar to how the secret to ‘Terminator’ was that it was a simple, well-made horror flick that just happened to have a robot as the killer. The reason these franchises tend to lose their sauce is because adding lore and big ideas, while intriguing, just take away the ambiguity that made its horror factor effective in the first place.

Calling it Don't Breathe in Space has me imagining that the Xenomorph is hiding a pregnant Predator in the ship's lower decks.

this video legit felt like it was more about the sponsor than it was an alien romulus review

I also liked Prometheus a lot more than other people, but my favorite thing in the Alien franchise since the original Alien movie wasn't even a movie. it was Alien: Isolation, a video game. It captured the feeling of the movies so well, and it's a shame there likely will never be a sequel.

The Gravity part was so simple yet genius. Ah how come nobody thought of using it in the previous Alien movies. 😅

Just got back from seeing it and I freaking loved it. Fede Alvarez knows what he's doing and it shows in every part of this film. Great disguting kills, beautiful cinematography, you actually want characters to survive and the movie has just enough fan service while finding some new interesting ways to present the xenomorph horror. Definitely go see this in theaters

I didn't dislike Prometheus because it didn't have the xenomorph. What bugged me was the fact that Weyland managed to crew his ship with the most profoundly stupid scientists possible, and the fact that nobody involved in the films production could make up their minds as to whether or not it was an alien movie. Like, clearly.

Man, Fede Alverez is just the perfect filmmaker for an Alien movie. And I’m even happier that Cailee Spaeny’s in the lead role, bro. I love her!

I don't think the problem with Prometheus was the lack of Aliens. It was that the ideas were not well thought out, and the characters were unbelievably stupid.

Prometheus was a very underrated movie. LOVED it. Hope we can get more from that Universe at some point soon as well.

For the first time, I can directly attribute a trailer to me going to the theater... That scene with the xenomorph blood in zero-gravity as a character glides towards it is genius. Absolutely diabolical if it pays off in the way I suspect after hearing your review.

That 'Dead Space-Alien paradox' mention made me smile. I can relate to it so much. Love both franchises to the core!

I absolutely love Prometheus except for the "stupid" things like taking one's helmet off to breathe an alien atmosphere or getting too close to an organism that no one knows about.
