If Andy wasn't interested in Rain, why was he trying to kill her ex boyfriend Tyler? And why did their potentially getting back together bother him?
If he truly thought of Rain as his sister, then he'd love Tyler! Tyler was a really nice guy!

The blue light is in the original movie covering the eggs. Also the Xeno that saves Rain doesn’t kill her because it wanted to impregnate her, you can see the face hugger sneaking in the corner.
