Andy was definitely the best part. His sad faces broke my heart.

I really dug this movie. Didn’t think the characters were dumb at all really. At the very least, they’re leagues smarter than the Covenant crew. At least they weren’t poking around in the name of science. They were desperate to find a better life and had no way of anticipating the severity of the consequences. As usual, you guys provide great commentary.

I liked this film a lot. David Jonsson as Andy was magnificent. He held this entire project together without a doubt.

"Use his finger to get into places" is crazy.

Maybe I'm just a big sissy, but I found that hybrid creature genuinely scary. I like when it first appears; there's no music and it's just chilling out, quietly staring at them and smiling. It was refreshing to actually be scared by something in a film

Ever since I came across you guys a while back, I legit look forward to checking in on your channel every time a new movie comes out, because you guys never ever disappoint me.
I love you guys’s style, and approach and how y’all operate with your reviews—- such as giving individual : raves, rants and reviews. — when you agree / disagree with each other and crack each other up, in such a real* way. Not scripted or doing or saying things just to get attention or get a rise out of the people watching.
— You guys are awesome,
- it’s like a feeling of chatting and getting the scoop from two friends I’ve known for a while.
Thanks for always producing great content and always putting a smile on my face 😉

you two- never disappoint❣️

I wanted more back story on Weyland Industries. Any company that has a "crew expendable" policy is the real horror story! 😂

Bobroczkyi is a Eastern European basketball player who’s famous for being super tall. Love how he’s getting into films. Lots of interesting stuff can be done with such a unique person especially in horror

As soon as the movie was over I thought to myself, I wonder what Nick & Joseph will say about this one ❤

Robert Bobroczkyi is a real dude! He went viral a few years ago for being over 6ft at age 8, and over 7' by age 12. The videos of him playing US high school basketball is pretty crazy. Cool to hear he's getting acting roles; I imagine his condition is very hard to maintain playing competitive sports.

There were sooo many times in this movie I was thinking to myself. LEAVE HIM/HER behind! TBH I liked when Andy was a little evil when he had Rook’s chip. He was not playing with those kids 😂

Another great review! I was looking forward to this video.

Once you realize in the first 15 minutes, that it falls between Alien and Aliens and that it's set up like Rogue One (that's an one off used as interconnected story), I took it for what it was. Again, it's no Alien or Aliens but it ain't no Aliens 3.

God bless you Joseph for praising Madonna's Erotica album during your super review!!
Erotica is one of my very favourite albums ever and is SO criminally underrated,
personally I think it is Madonna's best!!
Where Life Begins, Bad Girl, Rain, Deeper And Deeper, Waiting, Why's It So Hard, In This Life, Erotica, Fever, Secret Garden,
so many great songs!!
I'm so happy that someone out there loves this terrific album as much as I do!!

If Andy had just left the line at “get away from her!”….I would’ve been fine - but saying the whole thing with the “you bitch” just sucked me right out of the fun experience I was having - I was doing the Tyra Banks “WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU!!” in my head.

Also - Earlier in the movie Bjorn called Andy a Bitch and that’s when he replied “I prefer artificial human” or whatever (which was another callback line) so apparently that is supposed to explain how “bitch” got into his vocabulary.

I also didn’t like how she treated Andy in the beginning, she treated him like a dog.

Andy, picked up the word bitch, because Bjorn called him that earlier in the movie. He doesn’t really know what it means, he just knows it is pejorative and delivers it in his awkward manner. I enjoyed the film and thought it was really well done for what it was. Always look forward to your reviews and opinions to get another well thought out opinion, keep it up.

I really enjoyed it! It was basically a greatest hits of 1 and 2 with forced elements of Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. It's the best we'll get and folks are still crying about it. The end answer is stop making because no one can be happy.

I wish I could say that I was disappointed in this film, but I already knew it was going to be schlocky, fan service pretending to be a reinvention of the franchise. You know the story of how James Cameron pitched Aliens was famously done by adding a "$" behind the word "Alien"? Well, these moronic execs took the work "alien" and tried to spell it out with only dollar signs. I really wanted to like Romulus, but it kept either falling back on the characters being too dumb or references to the better films of the series. This film was honestly worst than Prometheus and Covenant combined, as it was just a cheap, teen slasher film in space. The OG Alien was a masterpiece of not only its time, but of all-time. This film was sadly just Jojo Siwa pretending she's an adult by ripping off KISS's makeup.

On a positive note, the production design, some of the effects, and the some of the cinematography was competent and decent. Then again, much of the production design was cribbing Alien: Isolation, Alien and Aliens. So, I guess we can thank Giger, Ron Cobb, & Syd Mead, ONCE AGAIN. Lastly (and most dishearteningly), I never thought in a million years they'd actually steal the ending to Alien: Resurrection... but, here we are.

- 1 rotten chicken egg, out of a derelict ship full of ovomorphs.
