The actor who played Andy had the saddest eyes I've ever seen! I just wanted to hug that synthetic. 😭 My partner mentioned that it was cool to see younger actors in an Alien movie as well and I thought that was a great point.

The creature at the end of this movie was the creepiest thing I’ve seen in a movie since Oddity. That thing was nightmare fuel 😂

The best thing for me is the high focus on facehugger danger. Hands down best thing for me

I’m telling you right now, the moment the human/xenomorph hybrid showed up, everyone in the theater gasped

SPOILER ALERT
The reason why she turn off the gravity in the acid blood scene is established earlier by Rook. They are in the lower level of the space station and if she gets acid on the floor, she whole section would decompress and that would kill them.

Cailee and David absolutely stole the show in this! The progression of their relationship... Perfect ❤

I was never bored while watching Romulus.

I liked the plot and the practical effects and a few of the characters.

But all the nostalgia had me rolling my eyes after a while.

For a movie that took place before Aliens onward they really had many callbacks to films that came afterward.

Cailey Spaeny & David Jonsson were both fantastic.

Andy, a non-human, was the best character in it.

I think them bringing back “Ash” made sense. The Ash robots were intended to look for and collect aliens. Ash was all about protecting the alien in the first movie. It stands to reason that there would be more than one. Kind of like T-800s in Terminator. There is more than one.

The creature was actually played by a real person: Robert Bobroczkyi. He is 7 feet, 7 inches tall and extremely thin. Look him up!

I saw it on Monday and loved it, but at 8 months pregnant I did NOT enjoy the scene you spoke about in the trigger warning. However, having my baby wriggling around in my stomach made watching the movie a very unique experience 😂

I’m really glad even the people who liked the movie (myself included) are still saying “the cgi/ai character was bad and the worst part of the movie and shouldn’t have been there”

I really liked how smart the main character was - she was very quick to think of a solution to a lot of situations that they got themselves into and the birthing scene and creature reveal had me wanting to crawl out of my seat it was epic - my problems came with the cgi / fan service and character motivations as well but I’m glad I saw it in theaters because it was a gorgeous movie

The cinematography was insane! Also Cailee Spaeny and Isabela Merced should really be in more movies like this

You didn’t expect pregnancy horror in an ALIEN movie?? One of the main themes has always been forced pregnancy. But I’m right there with you. I loved the ending. And the weird cocoon the first xeno came out of.

Fede Alvarez has earned my trust in 10 fold with attempting bring back a franchise, he nailed the Evil Dead and Alien franchise

the baby creature reminded me of like the alien version of the Baba lady from Barbarian or that thing from Splice 😂

I also like the fact the human/xeno hybrid had Engineer vibes too, which makes sense since the whole black goo thing. Another highlight for me was the hallway with the facehuggers and how they almost seemed to use the front "legs" as antenna. My friends and I were very much going shut up when he was on the radio. Like dude turn it off!
