I'm going to assume John meant to say South Korean.... not North Korean.... 😳

What’s a North Korean directors mindset? I think you mean South Korean John.

Loved it. 9/10. Placing it at 3rd behind Alien and ALIENS

Alien Romulus was magnificent, a true return to form for the series, happy to see it do well at the box office.

I loved this film. It was the first time I took my wife and kids to an Alien movie. My daughter kept saying "this movie is nasty dad"! LOL. Tried to warn her about those face huggers & the slime. I cannot eat and watch Alien movies. Never could. 🤷🏾‍♂️💯

Fede Alvarez doesn't have a North Korean directors mindset, I don't think they got any 😂

David Jonsson was truly awesome. Hope we get to see more of him in the future!

A North Korean director? Pretty sure Supreme Leader isn’t allowing many blockbuster films in Pyongyang.

Now that Predator and Aliens seem to be getting back on its feet someones gotta bring the Terminator back to its former glory

went with 2 friends who haven't seen the series...they loved this, and I being a fan also loved this.

I would've enjoyed this film more had I never seen any of the Alien movies, felt like the film was offering cheap fan service as opposed to paying homage from elements fans are familiar with. The film looks amazing and is incredibly acted but it barely if at all stands out from any of the other films

Andy was a great character. Really enjoyed him.

Took a few minutes but Andy really had an outstanding performance, should win an award. I did enjoy rains dynamic with him, interested to see how that evolves.

North Korean LOL. Does the director starve his crew and threaten to nuke the world? lmaooo

The movie was 10 of 10 in my opinion i got my alien fix from this. It combined all alien movies into one, and did it well. If you liked the the first 2 id highly recommend to watch it. Dont know why its getting hate.

Everybody was right. This was by far, the best Alien film since Aliens in 86'. Almost too.slow of a Start. BUT everything else was perfect, from sound editing, atmosphere, and claustrophobia to the acting and directing. 8/10

I was surprised how much Fede decided to connect it to Prometheus and I think it largely worked. Definitely would like to see more of his hand in the Alien franchise or, like Harloff, I would LOVE to see Fede do what he did with Evil Dead and Romulus with Terminator.

Saw it this morning. Absolutely loved it. I'm becoming a big fan of Cailee Spaeny after Priscilla, Civil War and this one. You're spot on about David Jonsson. The way he handled the switch was impressive. Great atmosphere. The two hours seemed like one.

Romulus was a lot of fun. Great entry- the third act was a thrill ride! Loved the possibility of where the sequel could go
