Fukusaki is the birthplace of Kunio Yanagita, the father of Japanese folklore. To increase visitors to the town, they made these yokai benches. There are at least 18 of these benches around the town so it feels like a bit of a scavenger hunt finding them all!

📍Fukusaki, Hyogo
🚃 Transfer at Himeji station to the Bantan Line
🚲 you can rent bicycles at the tourist info center next to the station, walk, or take buses to some of the benches
📍Kappa Pond at Tsujikawayama Park

🍦 ice cream was ‘mochi mugi’ - a type of barley that is high in fiber

That Gyaru oni, was an absolute Diva, THEY LOOK SO REAL TOO Granted there definitely got a strong illustrative style but they look like there the same softness of human flesh (if that makes sense)
