By far one of the most renowned doctors on the planet fully understanding this condition and the varied debilitating symptoms. I'm blessed to be under his care from May of 2020 to the present. My condition was severe and at a point of hopelessness prior to seeing him. Today it is nothing short of a miracle how much my condition has improved since treating with him. I'm not there yet, but on a positive path where the light at the end of the tunnel is closer every day.

Thank God for Dr Teixido! I'm so happy to have found him after 6 yrs and 10 different Dr's here in South Florida. I went back to my hometown in Wilmington, DE and was treated by him. He is the only Dr who understands this disorder and gave me hope. Thank you Dr T for all the material and resources you have shared. Prayers answered.

I have symptoms all day, every day. Alot of vestibular migraine patients have constant symptoms. It csn lasts for years at a time. I wish so called experts would acknowledge this instead of thinking of migraine as episodic. I'm very grateful my neurologist recognised vm and diagnosed me.

This was the best discussion I have heard on VM and treatment. Frustrated is an understatement. I've had to do so much research n then have to convince the provider what treatment works for me. Thank you for being so clear here.

Thank you so much Dr. Texido.. God Bless you from a Vestibular Migraine sufferer. I was lucky to have an ENT and family doctor who diagnosed me when a fancy neurologist on MIchigan avenue almost caused me to be suicidal with his dismissal of my issues... You are very clear and succinct..

Thank you for this, I am in my final year of medical school and recently diagnosed with Vestibular migraines, my exams are so close and it has really impacted my ability to continue studying, learning and living a normal life. I hope some of these medications you recommended can help me make it through my exams in one piece.

Thank you soooo much for your pursuit to illuminate this misunderstood condition.i am diagnosed with VM, as you said no migraine nor headache for the last 50yrs( I was given small dose of Valium 50 yrs ago for new job stress related which stopped in a month, no head ache since then). My VM attack to me is disabling, stays in bed almost like a mummy, no head movement nor bed jarring for 1-2 days.Hugs my toilet bowl for violent vomitting and sometimes comes with urge to do #2 .Cold clammy all over my body.Gravol helps.Tried Cerc pill, made my vertigo worse(spinning not only vertically, but horizontally).I feel that the Epley maneuver dont help. This vertigo started 40 yrs ago and happens at least 2x in a year.I still havent recognise my triggers.Just grateful that all attacks happened at home.I will watch my hydration and some food triggers.
I will follow up your podcasts.More power to you.

I am seeing my third neurologist. It’s sad the time, money and suffering that I have been through trying to get help. Almost three years of constant pain and suffering with symptoms that have not been able to be resolved as of yet. Excellent lecture.

By far the best information I have found about Vestibular Migraine. I stopped seeing my doctor at Hopkins two years ago because, apart from finally having a diagnosis, I felt there really wasn’t a lot a doctor could do for me. Physical therapy helped me get back behind the wheel after not being able to drive for several months. Even so, I still have days when I’m too impaired to drive.

Hi Dr. Texeido, I want to thank you from the button of my heart how much I appreciate your very invaluable support and information you have posted . God blesses you for helping all of us with Vestbular Migraine.
I do have one top question and hoping you get a chance to response back . If not I completely understand.
I have VM everyday that come with dizziness/vision vibration, it is worsen after I eat a meal. So far no doctor knows why, I am hoping you might have heard from other patients before and know why.
Thank you so much for your time.
Respectfully yours,
Mayline

Hi Dr. Teixido, I want to thank you for your hard work and the invaluable information you have shared with VM patients. The word alone can't describe enough of how much I appreciate all that you do . I used to have 30 migraine days for many years with vertigo and tinnitus. I am now got less amount of migraine attacks per day. I took your information to share with my doctors. That has help tremendously. God blesses you and your loved ones with good health . Thank you from the button of my heart for your compassion in helping all of us 🙏 ❤️

I am curious if bad neck alignment can cause vertigo.

This is SO helpful! Your descriptions are so clear and understandable. I’ve been diagnosed with VM by an ENT. I’ve had Mineare’s Disease dx for 60 yrs and was told recently that VM rules out the Mineare’s. I’m glad to hear your explanation and interaction of the two!

My main obstacle is getting the kind of care and tests and referrals i need with only medi-cal coverage.

I wish you were close to me here in Washington State. It’s taken so much time just figuring out this exists, and that this is highly possible to be what I’ve been dealing with since 2007. Haven’t had any diagnosis yet, but I’m fairly certain at this point.
