I Solved MatPat's Sister Location Problem - FNAF Theory

Recently, Game Theory has been releasing their Ultimate Five Nights at Freddy’s timeline. However, there was one part of the lore that MatPat seemed particularly stumped on, and that was the timeline placement of Sister Location, and whether it comes before or after FNAF 2 and FNAF 1.

In that video, MatPat asked the viewers to leave a comment explaining what they thought might have been the solution, but as I feel like my thoughts are more likely to be seen in a video rather than a comment and I’ve been planning to tackle Sister Location for a while, here we are.

So when is Sister Location? When were Circus Baby’s and the Funtimes made? When did William Afton get spring locked? What’s up with Michael? Stay tuned and find out!

I always thought William went kinda nuts after his son´s death and thats why he tried to research remnant and Elizabeth was kinda an unfortunate side victim of that research that fully send him over the edge.

Ok so I try not to overwhelm my algorithm with one thing but I saw one of your videos months ago and then couldn't remember your name so... I guess I'm subscribed.

Here's the thing with the theory of the minigames happening before fnaf 1 happening. 1) Why would someone see this place and feel to reopen, the building is in so much disrepair that it would probably be better to get a new location all together. 2) The minigame animatronics being slightly changed versions of the withered is neat but then here's an issue. How do the original fnaf 1 animatronics come to the establishment, and why do we see their specific heads clearly being broken down. If they were rebuild than they would be real animatronics to use, but springtrap is the only one they found. And yes the ones that were found might be cosplay, but they did visit the place before night 1, which was a revisit to find the safe room. So them finding the shells there isn't too far fetched. So I believe the animatronics in the minigame are the ones we see in fnaf 1. I can see the theory a bit but I feel it to be a bit better that the place is boarded up and william breaks down the wall. And after this reported breakin and destruction of property it's resealed. If anything is contradicting or there's anything to add I welcome anyone to comment.

The Five motif is starting to hit me. The 3 accounts of 5 things turning into one. The 5 kittens, 5 orphans, 5 keys, 5 children.... 5 children killed, twice. Some suits having 5 fingers (outlined in Matpat's Ultimate timeline), 5 Mediocre Melodies, 5 suits for five children, SB having five suits, the 4 rockstars and Vanny; Being rated in some games by way of stars, which have 5 points; Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, Bon-Bon, Ballora, and Circus Baby: 5 animatronics... turning into 1: Ennard; 2 parents + 3 children: 5 members... turning (back) into 1 family (outlined in GT's ultimate timeline). 5 nights... at Freddy's. I feel like there's just so much going on within the series that some of it is hinding under our noses (or beaks).

Matt's explanation to sister location was it was under the afton house, but how is it a private officer for william if we know michael was hired and is serving as a nightguard there? We know other people were inside of the location too...

i really like your theory but one thing that needs more explaining is how would william already have remnant in the sister location bunker before fnaf 2 other then that i think the theory real good and that fact that Michael is following william makes alot of sense

Me and a friend of mine have made a discovery on how William Afton became Glitchtrap

How did William actually become Glitchtrap?

One of my friends and I were talking about Glitchtrap and I pointed out that Afton couldn’t have become Glitchtrap since the empty springlock suit was well empty when he died in it. So we began to theorize on how he actually did.

We had a few ideas the ranged from him dying in the suit with a endo (which didn’t make sense), to Afton using different endo parts to keep himself together between Fnaf 3 and Pizzeria Simulator which could be true but we threw those out.

We began to discuss and theorize that the springlock suits have some type of circuitry inside of them. I was skeptical at first since they were only suits with springlocks inside them, until my friend brought up a good point. What about a voice box? There could have been a voice box in the suit to make them talk in suit mode if an employee was wearing one that wasn’t William or Henry.

Our theory is that while making the animatronics to work in the springlock suits, they had to limit the technology on the endo-skeletons and the voice box was one of those. They wired it to the mouth so whenever it was opened, the prerecorded lines would play. The same would happen in suit mode but Henry and William could use their own voices to talk too since they voiced their respective characters.

When William was springlocked in the 1993 location, his soul fused with the whole suit, including that voice chip. When he was burned for the last time in Pizzeria Simulator, he’s remaining remnant was burned away but his soul still resided in the circuit board as well as the vengeful spirits soul too (since their souls are apparently connected) and UCN happens.

That’s all we have so far and it makes the most sense to the two of us. If anyone has their own idea on how William officially became Glitchtrap, I’d love to hear your own takes on it!

Ok, here are my thoughts about this topic:

I think that Sister Location takes place after FNaF 1. Mike is Michael's nickname, and not a fake name. And Fritz Smith is a completely different, because I believe that Michael was around 12 when the Bite of 83 happend. So, he would be 16 when FNaF 2 happend.

Elizabeth was born in 1983, as we can see there is a crib in her room in one of the FNaF AR teasers. So, she can't get killed with 2 years old in SL, as we can see that she is probably around 10 in the minigame. And, 10 years after 1983 get us 1993, wich is exactly the year that FNaF 1 happend. I have in my mind that Michael who was taking care of Elizabeth. And then, in the year that Michael got a job, and left Elizabeth with William, she died.

Michael was fired because he was tempering with the Animatronics, and probably discovered there that the miths with his father were true. And after that, he confronted him. And as we know, Elizabeth was dead. So, to avoid Michael telling the police about his murders, he sent him to Circus Baby Entertainment and Rentals to free Elizabeth, so he could destroy the evidences. And I mean that William went back to the FNaF 1 pizzeria to destroy the Animatronics.

And who locked William in the Safe Room? I think that Henry did it. Well, he recieved the news. William was dead, for sure. There was no way that he could have survived the Springlocks, right? So, he locked him to no one find where William were.

And that's about it for me.
