BTW, I think I know why William Afton is a different color here. I think it's because Afton isn't seeking to harm anyone at this point. He was purple when he killed Henry's daughter. He was purple whenever he killed someone at the restaurants. But he has no intentions of killing anybody during this part of Midnight Motorist.
I think it might also be a bit poetic that Golden Bonnie was replaced with a purple one. Perhaps this is a clue in and of itself?
