I was so hype when I saw Matpat react to this! And I know Scott never does this, but I desperately wish he would at least acknowledge this theory, because I think it's really solid. Not convoluted or weird but straightforward and how I imagine someone might logically design a puzzle like this!

Honestly, it felt like a slap in the face with just how simple the puzzles actually were. Your answer and the way you found it just makes so much more sense tbh

This theory actually makes so much sense! In the FNAF novels, Afton goes by a fake name, "Dave", Afton must have gotten the name somewhere, so Afton stealing the name of a dead child to go unnoticed is exactly the kind of thing that he would do.

Honestly don’t even know why people liked the name Evan. The “n” honestly seemed so forced because people desperately wanted a name. His name is absolutely Dave and I will call him that forever.
