I've been using one of these almost daily for 20 years and it's still in pretty good shape, even with the occasional well meaning guest throwing it in the dishwasher or cutting something, or somewhere, they really shouldn't. I have another one at another location that a couple people abuse and it's in horrible shape after just a couple of years. Take care of it properly and it well serve you well.
